These are what my eyes see on this last day of 2012.
A gift to myself: things to make quilts easier.
Little girls playing with the remainders.
A(n almost) full dozen from our hens.
Kids in trees.
Threads of Color.
And yes, getting ready to dig into that huge bottle of bubbly my aunt and uncle gave us some time back. If tonight isn't a night for champagne, when is?
Have to say, I had a few days of shedding an old skin and along with it some of the deepest intentions I've had yet at New Years. Things feel ever-so-slightly different in a way I can't quite explain and I am comforted by the realities of home and warmth. Forgetting, until a few hours ago, that tomorrow really will be New Years day.
Cheers & Love & See you on the flip side.
