So much has been going on around here, as usual. The reality is that it's been Spring Break and all of a sudden Brad (also self-employed) and I are faced with trying to work with the kids at home. Spring Break came upon us and while other families fled past us to Legoland, Florida and the like- we realized that we hadn't even planned as much as an overnight camping trip.
Still, even though this week was been busy with work, it has also held a bit of fun: walks on the beach at low tide, an outing where Brad taught them how to use a hammer to find fossils in rocks (they found some!), a movie (the new Muppet one, ugh, disappointing), a trip to the local zoo, shopping with their own money and coupons at the local craft store (they picked out stuffed animals, I was like...um...that's not a craft. They were like...umm it's our money.). And all those things aren't even counting the getting of 2 new ducks and bird-netting the garden (yes, fun for kids!)
But, alas, here I am at the computer. Loading up the last of some photos onto Etsy and TAKING THE REST OF THE WEEKEND OFF!
Ok...now...I bet you are wondering...who is that darling toddler? It is Ellie, daughter of lovely Summer (who blogs here). She is wearing one of the baby shirts I've made. So super cute on her. Also....that's me in one of the awesome new tank dresses I have in the store. See? You can be in your 40's and pull off a stretchy eco-tank dress. YES you can! Truly. I LOVE THESE DRESSES!!! They could be dressed up or worn just hanging around the house (and garden, of course.) I really want one for myself! Wah! Maybe next time. And the organic cotton totes? Way utilitarian and darling, right? Some for mamas and some for kiddos. Killer gift idea, if I do say so myself. (That's my older daughter in the last pic, slightly NOT amused to be a model. I'm like... come on kid, mama's just trying to make a buck!) Anyway....it's all here in the store.
Anyway, I'm off. Have a great weekend. MUCH LOVE.
